Hygienic Impotance

Skin is our largest organ exposed to the outer environment. Depending on the part of the body, skin requires differentiated care to function well and feel us up to date and protected.  The primary care of skin requires proper hydration, protection from infrared and ultraviolet rays, protection from intolerable hot and cold and congenial condition for natural breathe by exchanging temperature with environment and by releasing surface moisture.

Apparels made of synthetic fibers less allows our skin to carry natural heat-regulating processes properly. Polyesters, acetates, latex, nylon and blends of these and other artificial fibers create unnatural condensation of moisture on the inside surface of the fabric i.e. on the surface of our skin, for which we feel ‘sweaty’ sometimes when we wear these.

Natural fibers do not interfere our skin's natural cooling and warming system. Apparels from nettle, hemp,  wool, bamboo, banana,  silk and others with  cotton & organic cotton and or blend of these natural fibers  are much more healthy and comfortable choice though these may require proper layering in extreme weather conditions.

Those who are in the later stage of life often experiencing “personal summer” or “hot flashes” appreciate the comfort of natural fibers perhaps more than most. Individuals who have undergone chemotherapy and/or radiation treatments find natural fibers much comfortable to wear next to their extremely sensitive skin.

The availability of newly combined, woven, knotted and knitted natural fibers allows for an amazing realm of choice as to texture, weight and colors. Also, whether or not the fibers are organically grown these are definitely natural. Naturally grown fibers in natural forests put much less stress on the environment than those grown using chemical herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers. Himalayan Nettles & Nepalese Hemps are naturally grown plants in the forests of Nepal and are becoming choice of the people day by day.   Access to vegetable dyeing is yet another strong option available to those who experience allergic reactions to synthetic dyes and prefers not to wear them.
