Nepal Apparels & Natural Fiber Pvt. Ltd is a Katmandu based company but reaches to every nook and corners of the country through its social networks. Promoters of the company are activists involved in social networks of business community of Nepal. For example, one of the promoters Mr. Shyam Prasad Giri is the 2^nd time Secretary General of Federation of Nepal Cottage and Small Industries (FNCSI- www.fncsi.org /www.fncsi.org.np) Mr Giri is the Coordinator of National Natural Fiber Forum formed among the private and government sectors involved in developing business of natural fibers. He also served as the Executive Director of Cottage Small Industry Development Board, Ministry of Industry/Government of Nepal which has responsibility to look for industrial development of 48 out of 75 districts in Nepal. Similarly, Mr. Ganesh Edi is the executive member of National Nettle Entrepreneurs Association of Nepal and Mrs Nina Kumari Shrestha is the executive member of Women Entrepreneurs Committee of FNCSI. All with this Shantos Karki(Mr)  maintains the networks and he is responsible for the production line.

The company has its own two dedicated production centers and two outsourced weaving centers in Kathmandu. Beside regular batches of production, these centers develop sample pieces and catalogs to send to the rural entrepreneurs for mass scale production. In one of our dedicated production centre at our head office, we regularly conduct training for women in weaving, hand embroidery, knot crafting, knitting, and basic and advanced tailoring and stitching for making our job gender sensitive. Thanks to the god! In our production line more than 70% of the artisans are women throughout the country.

Company has a belief that knowledge transfer is building talents for tomorrow and therefore company gathers information on fiber processing and disseminate among entrepreneurs. As fiber processing and product development is a very tedious job and people need upgraded technology in every steps; eventually company funds for prototypes at local level for technology enhancement but still we are far behind and therefore our concern is main on appropriate & advanced technology.
