National Natural Fiber Forum/Nepal was formed by the joint meeting of the representatives from the private sectors' umbrella organizations and concerned government organizations in 2009 while celebrating the "International Year of Natural Fiber" to help support for product development of natural fiber & Dhaka products increase their business. Representative from National Nettle Entrepreneurs Association of Nepal added by the Coordinator afterward in 2010
